How much is it to attend?

Costs will depend on the event and the duration, which will be clearly advertised as part of each event or activity. Costs are broken into Support Costs and Out of Pocket Costs.

Support Costs are invoiced after the event. In most cases these costs can be claimed for from Core or Capacity Building Budgets in your NDIS plan using the following support items:

  • Community and social activity costs (Core)
  • Community participation activity (Capacity Building)

We generally provide support at a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 depending on the event.

Should you require more direct support at these events, this may require you to bring your own support worker along if we are unable to meet your support needs.  In this case a $50 programming fee is charged in lieu of Support Costs for 3-4 hour long events. Other special events or overnight events will be advertised alongside the event cost. More information can be found in our Schedule of Supports

Out of Pocket Costs are the costs of things like tickets, catering, equipment hires, transport, accommodation. These are paid for when you register to attend each event.

Do I need to attend all events?

No, you can choose which events you want to attend and which ones you don’t. It’s totally up to you. Come to all or only one.

How do I register?

We use Operoo to manage registrations. You can register your interest for a particular event through the Social Programs Calendar or Send Email
